I love this image for so many reasons, but most of all because of its charmingly imperfect perfection. Most families have a mental image of the perfect family photo with everyone sitting just right with the most perfect smiles on their faces. The reality, I can attest, is much different but that is exactly why I love capturing families at the various stages and ages, where the last thing a 3 year old, 2 year old & 4 month old want to do is sit and smile pretty for the camera. And through it all, the parents, ever the troopers, laugh and chalk it up to real life.
