I adore this family. And it’s not because they’ve hired me document their family 3 times in less than a year but because they’ve asked me to document their family 3 times in less than a year. I realize that sounds like a contradiction but it’s really not, promise. It is an honor to have the opportunity to capture a family several times throughout a year, to document the growth of two young boys and their continuing connection of a family of four. To have a family recognize and appreciate the value of photographs is, well, wonderful.

Due to the never-ending Portland rain (at least it felt like it for the 10 days I was there), we decided to meet in a gelato shop. YUM.

One of the great things about photographing a family several times is to see the development of personalities in the littlest ones.
