A couple weeks ago Carol of 847 Media (one half of a husband-wife wedding photography team here in Chicago) and I met up to do a photoswap, each of us taking turns as both model & photog. (You can see the ones Carol took of me HERE.) As many photographers will attest, it’s rare to have photos of ourselves because we’re so often the ones wanting to take the pictures. For some photographers, it’s a matter of feeling uncomfortable in front of the lens. For Carol, however, whether she realizes this or not, she ROCKS IT being in front of the lens.
She was great fun, laughing and smiling at just the right time, or striking a fierce pose for the perfect shot. And best of all, she got it when I said, “Think heroin chic!” and “Let’s see some broken down legs.” Carol, if you ever get sick of photography, might I suggest modeling?
Without further ado, here are a few of my favorites.
